How to treat keratoconus

Guiding you with care, every step of the way.
Corneal keratoconus can be treated by wearing hard contact lenses, corneal transplantation or corneal cross-linking surgery.
1. Wearing hard contact lenses
For early keratoconus, try wearing hard contact lenses to correct vision.
2. Keratoplasty
If keratoconus is severe, or other treatments are not effective, keratoplasty can be considered. This surgical method can replace the diseased corneal tissue with healthy corneal tissue to restore vision.
3. Corneal cross-linking
surgery is a minimally invasive, safe and effective surgical method to enhance the hardness and stability of the cornea, thus controlling the progression of keratoconus. For patients with keratoconus at the developmental stage, it is recommended to perform cross-linking surgery early.
