Nodular gastritis

is a special type of chronic gastritis characterized by small, uniform raised nodules on the gastric mucosa under endoscopy. The cause is unclear, and may be caused by Helicobacter pylori infection. Patients may develop abdominal pain, abdominal distension and other symptoms, which can be cured after active treatment. Generally, cancer does not occur.

If patients with nodular gastritis do not receive timely treatment, the nodules in the stomach will continue to grow, and there is a 5%-10% possibility that malignant lesions will occur, causing gastric cancer.
