How to detect Helicobacter pylori in stomach

Empathy in care, excellence in medicine.
The test methods of Helicobacter pylori usually include rapid urease test, carbon 13 urea breath test, histological examination, etc., the details are as follows:
1. Rapid urease test
Take a small piece of gastric mucosa tissue as a specimen and put it into the test cup. If the liquid in the test cup is yellow, it means negative. If the liquid in the test cup is red, it means positive. If the positive result indicates Helicobacter pylori infection.
2. Carbon 13 urea breath test
According to the characteristics of Helicobacter pylori urease, carbon 13 urea will be decomposed to produce carbon dioxide containing carbon 13. If the carbon 13 urea breath test result is positive, it indicates that the patient is infected with Helicobacter pylori.
3. Histological examination
Take gastric mucosa tissue by gastroscope forceps, slice, stain, and carry out pathological examination. If the result is positive, it indicates infection with Helicobacter pylori.
