Manifestations of adenomatous polyp

Adenomatous polyps can appear mass, pain, stool character changes and other manifestations.

1. Mass

adenomatous polyps are mostly caused by malignant hyperplasia of adenoma on the mucosa, which can be single or multiple. As the disease progresses, the hyperplastic tissue can also increase, and the patient can touch the mass locally.

2. Pain

with the growth of polyps, pulling the surrounding mucosa and damaging nerves, causing pain in the body.

3. Fecal character changes

If adenomatous polyps occur in the gastrointestinal tract, intestinal obstruction, stricture, etc., feces cannot pass normally, which can cause fine feces and difficulty in defecation.
