What to do with gastric bleeding

Dedicated to your healing journey.
Gastric bleeding can be treated with drugs, surgery, and daily life management.
1. Drug therapy
patients need to use drugs to inhibit gastric acid secretion, improve the PH value in the stomach, and to a certain extent play a role in hemostasis, such as omeprazole, ranitidine, famotidine, etc. Somatostatin, octreotide, etc. can also be used to contract blood vessels to help stop bleeding.
2. Surgical treatment
can be performed under endoscopy for hemostasis, such as mechanical hemostasis, thermal coagulation hemostasis, etc. When endoscopic treatment is not effective, vascular interventional embolization can be performed.
3. Daily life management
Acute bleeding period needs fasting. After bleeding symptoms improve, you can eat liquid diet first, and then gradually transition to semi-liquid diet.
