Can outlet obstructive constipation be operated on?

Healing hearts, one patient at a time.
In general, outlet obstructive constipation can be treated surgically.
Patients with outlet obstructive constipation caused by rectal prolapse, rectal polyps or tumors need surgery to remove the primary disease and restore normal defecation function. If the patient is suffering from outlet obstructive constipation due to pelvic muscle spasm syndrome, long-term conservative treatment cannot be relieved, and surgical intervention is also required. However, most patients with pelvic muscle spasm syndrome can be treated conservatively without surgical intervention. Very few patients can not tolerate surgery, surgery is not recommended.
Patients can usually exercise properly, help gastrointestinal motility, promote fecal excretion, can prevent constipation.
