How do you know about Helicobacter pylori infection?

Helicobacter pylori infection can be confirmed by histological examination, breath test and pathogen detection.

1. Histological examination

: Rapid urease test of gastric mucosa tissue, tissue section or Helicobacter pylori culture. If any of these three tests is positive, it can be diagnosed as Helicobacter pylori infection.

2. Breath test

: 13C-urea breath test or 14C-urea breath test. The result is positive, which also indicates the presence of Helicobacter pylori infection.

3. Pathogen detection

: Hp antigen detection by monoclonal antibody method. If the result is positive, it can be diagnosed as Helicobacter pylori infection.
