If the patient has atrophic gastritis and the condition is serious, a second gastroscopy

should be performed

about 1 year. If the patient has gastric cancer, endoscopic submucosal dissection should be performed early, and a second gastroscopy should be performed at an interval of about 3 months to monitor the healing of the mucosa at the site of resection.

Patients should fast 6-8 hours before gastroscopy, stabilize their emotions and reduce mental stress. If abnormal feelings occur after gastroscopy, they should inform the doctor immediately.
