How long does it take to finish the gastroscopy?

Guiding you to a healthier tomorrow.
Gastroscopy usually takes half an hour to complete, and if pathological biopsy is done, the result is usually obtained in 3~5 days.
Gastroscopy is to use a slender soft tube inserted into the stomach to clearly observe the lesions of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum. Generally, it takes 10 minutes to complete the examination, and the patient can get the result of gastroscopy on the same day after 30 minutes. If suspicious lesions are found in the local area during gastroscopy, biopsy forceps shall be used to clamp the diseased tissues here and send them to the pathology department for sectioning and staining treatment. Since the preparation process takes a certain time, it takes about 3~5 days for the complete gastroscopy report with pathological examination results to produce results.
