How to Treat Ophthalmia

Ophthalmoplegia may be related to infection, peripheral neuropathy, tumor and other causes. Patients can take symptomatic treatment.
1. Infection
If the patient's ophthalmoplegia is caused by bacterial infection, antibiotics such as amoxicillin, cefazoxime, cefuroxime, etc. can be used as prescribed.
2. Peripheral neuropathy
If the patient's ophthalmoplegia is caused by peripheral neuropathy, mecobalamin, oryzanol, vitamin B1, vitamin B12, dexamethasone and other drugs can be used as prescribed to alleviate the phenomenon of ophthalmoplegia.
3. Tumor
If the patient's ophthalmoplegia is caused by tumor, surgery should be taken as soon as possible to remove the tumor, and adjuvant therapy such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy can be taken.
