What causes eye floaters?

Eye floaters, that is, floaters, may be caused by physiological factors, and may also be related to pathological factors such as intraocular hemorrhage and intraocular inflammation.
1. Physiological factors
With the growth of age, the vitreous body in the human eye will liquefy, and the outer layer of the vitreous body after liquefaction will form vitreous opacity. Patients will feel that there are floaters in front of them.
2. Intraocular hemorrhage
due to eye trauma, eye surgery and other factors caused by retinal, uveal vascular rupture, blood outflow accumulated in the vitreous body, will form floaters.
3. Intraocular inflammation
Retinitis, uveitis and other inflammation affect the vitreous body, due to inflammatory exudate into the vitreous body, will lead to vitreous opacity, floaters.
