What are the symptoms of nasolacrimal duct obstruction

Your health is my mission, your recovery is my joy.
The typical symptoms of nasolacrimal duct obstruction are epiphora, swelling of the lacrimal sac and purulent secretions.
1. The
early manifestation of epiphora is intermittent epiphora, which can develop into persistent epiphora, and the symptoms of epiphora will be more obvious under the stimulation factors such as sand, smoke and cold.
2. The swelling of
the lacrimal duct will affect the discharge of tears and lacrimal sac secretions. After the tears and lacrimal sac secretions continue to accumulate locally, it can cause swelling of the lacrimal sac.
3. Purulent secretions
Nasolacrimal duct obstruction can also cause secondary infection. Inflammatory stimulation will lead to increased eye secretions, and the secretions are sticky and yellow.
