Corneal epithelial exfoliation is how to return a responsibility

Dedicated to your well-being.
Corneal epithelial detachment is considered to be related to trichiasis, eye trauma, high intraocular pressure and other factors.
1. Trichiasis
corneal epithelium is prone to thickening due to constant stimulation of trichiasis. When thickening to a certain extent, corneal epithelium can be punctate detachment.
2. Eye trauma
When the patient's eyes are impacted by trauma, corneal epithelium is vulnerable to damage, and damaged tissue will peel off from the anterior elastic layer, showing corneal epithelium detachment.
3. High intraocular pressure
When the patient suffers from diabetes, glaucoma, iridocyclitis, the intraocular pressure is often high, and the eye is in a high pressure state for a long time, it is easy to cause corneal edema. The growth speed of corneal epithelium does not match the development speed of iris, and punctate detachment will occur.
