How does glaucoma develop?

Guiding you towards a healthier tomorrow.
The causes of glaucoma are related to the disease classification, which can be divided into secondary glaucoma, primary angle-closure glaucoma, primary open-angle glaucoma, etc. The specific analysis is as follows:
1. Secondary glaucoma is
usually caused by external force damage such as impact, punching, kicking, etc., resulting in eye tissue damage, causing aqueous humor circulation disorder, inducing intraocular pressure to increase, resulting in secondary glaucoma.
2. Primary angle-closure glaucoma
is usually caused by abnormal eyeball structure of patients, such as thick lens, shallow anterior chamber, relatively small cornea, etc., which is easy to cause poor drainage of aqueous humor, resulting in primary angle-closure glaucoma.
3. Primary open-angle glaucoma
is open and normal in appearance, but trabecular meshwork lesions occur, resulting in blocked aqueous humor drainage, resulting in primary open-angle glaucoma.
