Differential diagnosis of lacrimal gland mixed tumor

Your health, my commitment.
Mixed tumor of lacrimal gland needs to be differentiated from pleomorphic adenocarcinoma, inflammatory pseudotumor, dermoid cyst, etc.
1.
Color Doppler flow imaging of pleomorphic adenocarcinoma shows rich blood flow signal, usually with pleomorphic adenocarcinoma, mixed tumor of lacrimal gland usually shows a little color blood flow signal.
2. Ultrasound examination of inflammatory pseudotumor
shows that if the lesion site is hypoechoic, it is usually with inflammatory pseudotumor. If the echo is increased or evenly distributed, it indicates mixed tumor of lacrimal gland.
3. CT examination of dermoid cyst
shows that the local lesion is a low density area, and there is a tunnel formed by the lesion in the bone suture, usually with dermoid cyst. CT examination of mixed tumor of lacrimal gland shows soft tissue density and uniform texture.
