Corneal foreign body should do

Corneal foreign body can be treated by general treatment, drug treatment, surgical treatment, etc.

1. General treatment

For patients with corneal foreign body in the superficial layer, it can be treated by wiping the foreign body with sterile cotton swab dipped in normal saline.

2. Drug treatment

If the foreign body is in the superficial layer of cornea, sodium hyaluronate eye drops, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose eye drops, etc. are usually used for eye washing treatment.

3. Surgical treatment

For patients with large corneal foreign body, foreign body in the deep part of cornea, foreign body incarceration, etc., surgery is usually adopted to remove foreign body under slit lamp for treatment.
