How should ophthalmoplegia be treated

Ophthalmoplegia can be treated by drug therapy, surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy.

1. Drug therapy

If ophthalmoplegia caused by diabetes mellitus, metformin, glipizide, acarbose and other drugs can be used. And bacterial infection caused by ophthalmoplegia, ceftriaxone sodium, penicillin, cefazolin sodium and other drugs can be used.

2. Surgical treatment

For ophthalmoplegia caused by intracranial tumors, surgery is required.

3. Radiotherapy

and chemotherapy for patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma caused by ophthalmoplegia, mainly radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy, such as paclitaxel, cisplatin, fluorouracil, etc., to kill tumor cells and inhibit their growth, so as to achieve the treatment goal.
