Conjunctivitis cold or hot

Your health, my unwavering commitment.
Conjunctivitis usually does not need cold compress or hot compress, but allergic conjunctivitis can be cold compress.
Conjunctivitis is an inflammatory disease that occurs in conjunctival tissue. Because conjunctivitis is mainly caused by pathogen infection, it can cause conjunctival congestion, swelling and other symptoms. Cold compress may affect local blood circulation of swollen parts, which is not conducive to the regression and recovery of inflammation; hot compress may accelerate eye blood circulation and easily cause inflammation spread, so conjunctivitis patients usually do not need cold compress or hot compress. However, for patients with allergic conjunctivitis, cold compress can relieve local allergic reactions and relieve discomfort symptoms such as itching.
