Corneal inflammation, also known as keratitis, is usually caused by exogenous pathogen infection, endogenous, local spread and other reasons, analysis is as follows:
1. Exogenous pathogen infection
If the patient's cornea is infected by viruses, bacteria, fungi, acanthamoeba and other pathogens, it is easy to cause keratitis.
2. Endogenous
If the patient lacks vitamin A in the body, or suffers from rheumatoid arthritis, it is easy to cause corneal lesions, and the risk of keratitis will increase.
3. Local spread
If the patient suffers from conjunctivitis, scleritis and other inflammation, as the disease worsens, inflammation will spread to the cornea, thus causing keratitis.
