Choroidal melanoma
is a common intraocular malignant tumor in adults. According to TNM staging, T refers to the depth of tumor invasion, N refers to the number of lymph node metastasis, M refers to melanoma metastasis, which can be divided into four stages. Choroidal melanoma with tumor diameter less than 2cm and no diffusion phenomenon belongs to stage I tumor; Choroidal melanoma with tumor diameter of 2-5cm and no diffusion belongs to stage II tumor; If the tumor is larger than 2 cm in diameter and has local lymph node spread and metastasis, it is a stage III tumor; if the choroidal melanoma is large in size and has local and distal spread and metastasis, it is a stage IV tumor.
Choroidal melanoma may cause visual impairment and even blindness in patients, so once choroidal melanoma is discovered, appropriate treatment should be promptly carried out.
