How to judge oneself presbyopic

presbyopic refers to presbyopia. It can be judged whether presbyopia exists by observing symptoms, diopter measurement, lens examination and other methods.

1. Observing symptoms Presbyopia

is a physiological change that occurs with age. If there is difficulty in near vision and it cannot last, presbyopia may occur.

2. Refractive measurement The

doctor will use an autorefractor or a handheld refractometer to measure the diopter of the patient's eyes. If there is refractive error, presbyopia can be preliminarily considered in combination with the above clinical symptoms.

3. Lens examination If the

patient finds lens sclerosis after lens examination, presbyopia can be diagnosed.
