How many times should I check after cervical conization?

Your health, my mission. Your recovery, my joy.
After cervical conization, multiple follow-ups are usually required to ensure treatment effectiveness and prevent recurrence. Although the number of follow-ups may vary from individual to individual and doctor recommendations, in general, the review process covers several critical stages of recovery. First, about a month after conization, the patient needs a first follow-up to observe the healing of the surgical wound and the peeling of the scab surface. This is to detect and treat possible adhesions, infections or other complications in time. Then, about three months after surgery, the patient needs a more comprehensive review, including cervical TCT (thin-layer cytology), HPV HPV testing and colposcopy. These tests are designed to assess recovery from cervical disease and the presence of recurrent or new lesions. If these tests are normal, patients may need to be re-examined every six months or once a year, depending on the doctor's recommendation and the patient's individual circumstances. The follow-up process may last for years to ensure long-term monitoring and maintenance of cervical health. The number of follow-up visits after cervical conization is not fixed, but is determined according to the patient's specific conditions and doctor's recommendations. Regular follow-up visits can identify and address potential problems in a timely manner to ensure the patient's cervical health.
