Waist soreness is kidney yin deficiency or kidney yang deficiency

Empowering lives through health.
The soreness of waist and knees is caused by kidney yin deficiency and kidney yang deficiency, mainly due to kidney yin deficiency and inability to nourish waist and knees. Kidney-yin is the root of yin fluid in human body. When kidney-yin deficiency occurs, the body loses moisture. In addition to soreness of waist and knees, it is often accompanied by five upset fever, hot flashes, night sweats, dry mouth and throat, red tongue with little fur, etc. Kidney-yang deficiency causes soreness of waist and knees, mostly due to deficiency of kidney-yang and negligence of warming. Deficiency of kidney-yang can not warm and nourish the waist and knees, resulting in symptoms of soreness of the waist and knees, accompanied by cold limbs, pale complexion, fatigue, sexual dysfunction, clear urine, loose stools and other manifestations. In addition, soreness of waist and knees may not be caused by kidney yin deficiency or kidney yang deficiency alone, but may also be caused by other conditions, such as liver and kidney deficiency, qi and blood deficiency, blood stasis blocking collaterals, etc. Therefore, when there is soreness in the waist and knees, it cannot be simply judged as kidney-yin deficiency or kidney-yang deficiency. It needs to be comprehensively analyzed and accurately differentiated in combination with other symptoms of the whole body, as well as tongue signs and pulse conditions, so as to take appropriate treatment measures.
