What about elevated tumor markers?

Your health, my mission. Your recovery, my joy.
When the tumor markers increase, it may be caused by inflammation, benign tumor, malignant tumor, etc., and the reasons vary according to different treatments.
1. Inflammatory
inflammatory diseases can lead to increased levels of certain tumor markers. In this case, amoxicillin, cefuroxime, levofloxacin and other drugs can be used to control the development of inflammation.
2. Benign tumors
Some benign tumors may also cause increased tumor markers, but usually to a lesser extent. Treatment may include surgical resection, observation and follow-up or drug therapy depending on the tumor type, size and location.
3. Malignant tumors
If the tumor markers are significantly increased, and associated with relevant clinical symptoms, it may indicate the existence of malignant tumors. At this time, further imaging examination and pathological diagnosis are required. Treatment is based on the type, stage and patient's condition, surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy or immunotherapy.
