Is sex the cause of mental illness?

Sex is not the root cause of mental illness.

Sex is the normal physiological needs of human beings. It is the expression of physiological and psychological needs. Normal sexual life is beneficial to healthy psychology. It can promote emotional communication and enhance intimate relationships. It is also an important way for human reproduction. The factors of mental illness are complex, including genetic, environmental, psychological and social factors. These factors interact to jointly affect individual mental health. Therefore, it is unscientific to simply attribute mental illness to sex.

If patients suffer from mental illness, they should go to the psychiatric department of a regular hospital for medical intervention as soon as possible to obtain good treatment results.
