How is adult intestinal leakage caused?

Restoring balance, one patient at a time.
Intestinal fistula is usually referred to as intestinal fistula. Adult intestinal fistula may be caused by surgical trauma, inflammatory bowel disease, intestinal tumor and other factors.
1. Surgical trauma
After intestinal surgery, if the wound heals poorly, it may lead to intestinal mucosa fragility and intestinal fistula.
2. Inflammatory bowel disease When
suffering from inflammatory bowel disease, long-term inflammatory stimulation destroys the intestinal mucosal barrier, which will increase the risk of intestinal fistula formation.
3. Intestinal tumor
When intestinal tumor exists, tumor cells continue to proliferate and infiltrate the intestinal mucosa, which may promote mucosal rupture and lead to intestinal fistula.
