What are the hazards of C14 breath test

Your health, my mission. Your recovery, my joy.
C14 breath test has no obvious harm, but if it is not properly checked, it will cause vomiting, abdominal pain, radiation exposure and other hazards.
1. Vomiting
C14 breath test is a method used to detect Helicobacter pylori infection. Patients with poor gastrointestinal function can stimulate gastrointestinal tract and vomiting symptoms after taking carbon 14 urea capsules.
2. Abdominal pain
C14 breath test needs to be fasted properly before breath test, but if fasting time is too long, abdominal pain may be caused because there is no food involved in digestion in the stomach for a long time.
3. Radiation exposure
C14 breath test requires radioisotope carbon 14 for measurement. If it is not detected properly, radiation exposure will occur, thus affecting physical health.
