What is paroxysmal pain in ascending colon position?

Healing hearts, one patient at a time.
Paroxysmal dull pain in the ascending colon may be caused by intestinal gas accumulation, intestinal spasm, colon polyps and other reasons.
1. Intestinal gas accumulation in the
ascending colon is close to the stomach. If too much gas is produced during digestion, it will cause intestinal swelling and discomfort.
2. Intestinal spasm The
ascending colon is located above the abdomen. The contraction and relaxation of intestinal smooth muscles work together to promote food movement in the intestine. When abnormal contraction or spasm occurs in the intestinal muscles, it may cause paroxysmal dull pain.
3. Colonic polyps
appearing in the ascending colon may cause paroxysmal dull pain, mainly because polyp tissue grows. When the volume is large, it will stimulate the surrounding tissues.
It is recommended that patients with paroxysmal dull pain symptoms in the ascending colon should be examined and treated with the help of a doctor to promote recovery.
