B-mode ultrasonography in early stage of cirrhosis

Your health is my mission, your recovery is my joy.
Early B-ultrasound manifestations of liver cirrhosis include abnormal liver morphology, abnormal echo inside the liver, widening of portal vein, etc.
1. Abnormal liver morphology
In the early stage of liver cirrhosis, B-ultrasound can observe that the surface of the liver is not smooth, and the liver morphology is abnormal, mostly manifested as enlargement of the left lobe and contraction of the right lobe of the liver.
2. Abnormal echo inside the liver.
Early B-ultrasound can also find abnormal echo inside the liver, mostly manifested as uneven echo, thickened echo, suggesting the existence of fibrosis, and even nodular echo.
3. Widening of portal vein. In
patients with early cirrhosis, B-ultrasound can also find widening of portal vein, suggesting portal hypertension.
