Duodenal stasis may be caused by superior mesenteric artery compression, surgery, tumor and other reasons.
1. Superior mesenteric artery compression
Congenital dysplasia leads to too small an angle between superior mesenteric artery and abdominal aorta. When superior mesenteric artery is directly compressed on the transverse segment of duodenum, it can lead to duodenal stasis.
2.
Adhesion occurs after gallbladder and stomach surgery, which leads to duodenal stenosis and blockage. Abnormal emptying of intestinal contents can also cause duodenal stasis.
3. Tumor
duodenal tumor occurs. With the tumor volume increasing, intestinal obstruction can also lead to duodenal stasis.
