What causes gastric mucosa bulge

Gastric mucosal bulge may be caused by gastric polyps, gastric leiomyoma and gastric cancer.

1. Gastric polyps

Gastric polyps refers to benign protruding lesions protruding from the surface of gastric mucosa, which may be related to Helicobacter pylori infection, drugs and bile reflux.

2. Gastric leiomyoma

Gastric leiomyoma is a benign tumor originating from the muscularis propria or muscularis mucosa, which may be related to genetic factors. When growing in the muscularis mucosa, it can raise the mucosa.

3. Gastric

cancer originates from epithelial cells of gastric mucosa, mainly related to inflammation, dysplasia and other factors. When cancer cells gradually increase, it can cause gastric mucosal bulge.
