Acute pancreatitis can be diagnosed by clinical manifestations, blood tests, imaging examinations, etc.
1. Clinical manifestations
If the patient has acute and persistent symptoms such as abdominal pain, vomiting, abdominal distension, fever, etc., it can be highly suspected of acute pancreatitis.
2. Blood tests If
blood amylase or lipase in the blood is found to be> 3 times the upper limit of normal value, it can be basically diagnosed as acute pancreatitis.
3. Imaging examinations When the
patient is doing imaging examinations, if the pancreas is enlarged or irregular in shape, it indicates that he has acute pancreatitis.
Any two of the above three items can be directly diagnosed.
