Gastritis is serious. What's next?

Your health, my mission. Your recovery, my joy.
Gastritis can develop into gastric ulcer, gastric perforation and even gastric cancer.
1. Gastric ulcer
If the patient has increased gastric acid and less protective mucus in the stomach wall, the gastric acid in the stomach may contact the stomach wall, causing stomach wall damage, leading to inflammation of the gastric mucosa and forming gastritis. If gastritis is not treated in time, the damage to the stomach wall will be more serious and form ulcers. Therefore, severe gastritis will develop into gastric ulcer.
2. Gastric perforation
Gastritis will cause gastric ulcer seriously. When the disease continues to worsen, the ulcer will further erode the stomach wall, gradually penetrate the muscular layer and serosa layer, causing gastric perforation.
3. Gastric cancer
Atrophic gastritis is a type of gastritis. If the patient does not pay attention and timely treatment, the gastric epithelial cells may lose control and continue to proliferate. When the disease worsens, the gastric epithelial cells will develop into cancer cells, causing gastric cancer.
