Cholestasis may be caused by viral hepatitis, drug factors, liver cancer and other reasons.
1. Viral hepatitis
For patients with viral hepatitis A, viral hepatitis B, viral hepatitis C and other viral hepatitis, viral factors may cause liver damage and affect bile duct tissue in the liver, resulting in cholestasis.
2. Drug factors
In patients with long-term use of atorvastatin, methimazole, erlotinib and other drugs, cholestasis may occur due to drug components that cause bile formation, secretion and excretion disorders.
3.
Patients with primary or secondary liver cancer may cause intrahepatic bile duct obstruction due to cancer infiltration into the liver, affecting bile excretion, resulting in cholestasis.
