What's wrong with small intussusception?

Your well-being is my top priority.
Small intestine intussusception may be related to factors such as infection, intestinal space-occupying lesions, and imperfect intestinal development.
1. Infection
When the small intestine is infected by bacteria or viruses, intestinal spasm can occur under the stimulation of inflammation, and intestinal rhythm changes. Small intestine intussusception is prone to occur.
2. Intestinal space-occupying lesions
When there are space-occupying lesions such as polyps and tumors in the small intestine, the intestinal wall can be pulled, and the proximal intestine will be intussuscepted into the distal intestine under the push of intestinal peristalsis.
3. Intestinal development is imperfect
For infants and young children, due to the relatively long length of the intestine and the imperfect development of the intestinal system, abnormal rhythm can easily occur during intestinal peristalsis, resulting in small intestine intussusception.
