The causes of cholestasis include intrahepatic factors, extrahepatic factors and other factors.
1. Intrahepatic factors
Viral hepatitis, bile duct deficiency syndrome, primary biliary cirrhosis and liver cancer can lead to bile secretion and excretion disorders, resulting in cholestasis in the liver.
2. Extrahepatic factors
When there is inflammation, stones or foreign bodies in the bile duct, it can cause biliary obstruction, resulting in cholestasis. Secondly, tumors around the ampulla oppress the bile duct, which can also lead to cholestasis.
3. Other factors
such as overeating and high fat diet can stimulate bile secretion, resulting in a large amount of cholestasis in the gallbladder.
