How do stomach polyps come about?

Dedicated to your healing journey.
Gastric polyps may be caused by Helicobacter pylori infection, drug factors, bile reflux and other factors.
1. Helicobacter pylori infection
due to the presence of Helicobacter pylori infection in patients, will stimulate gastric mucosa, causing gastric epithelial cell proliferation, resulting in the formation of benign raised polyps protruding from the surface of gastric mucosa.
2. Drug factors
If the patient long-term use of omeprazole, lansoprazole and other proton pump inhibitors, will lead to long-term low gastric acid state, easy to lead to the formation of gastric polyps.
3. Bile reflux
If the patient has bile reflux due to various reasons, it will destroy the acidic environment in the stomach and easily form gastric polyps.
