What is Midnight Gas?

Your health, my priority.
Midnight flatulence may be related to improper diet, abdominal cold, pyloric obstruction and other factors.
1. Improper diet
If you overeat before going to bed or eat too much at dinner, you will go to sleep without exercise after eating. It may be because the gastrointestinal motility slows down during sleep. Food is not digested and absorbed in time. Gas is released in the stomach and manifested as midnight flatulence.
2. Abdominal cold
If you sleep, you do not do a good job in keeping your abdomen warm, resulting in abdominal cold. After cool air enters the body, it may also be manifested as midnight flatulence.
3. Pyloric obstruction
Because pyloric obstruction hinders food from being discharged into the duodenum, food may ferment at night after eating at night, increasing internal pressure and causing midnight flatulence.
