Hungry stomach pain what causes

Hungry stomach pain may be related to extreme hunger, duodenal ulcer, gastric cancer and other causes.

1. Extreme hunger

When the patient is in a state of extreme hunger, a large amount of gastric acid will stimulate the gastric vagus nerve, leading to gastric smooth muscle spasm, and hungry stomach pain symptoms.

2. Duodenal ulcer

Duodenal ulcer is an inflammatory defect of duodenal mucosa caused by digestion of gastric juice. Typical symptoms are stomach pain under fasting state.

3. Gastric cancer

is a space-occupying lesion, which can lead to gastric mucosal damage in patients. After gastric acid stimulation, hungry stomach pain occurs.
