Cholecystitis is diagnosed by what tests.

Your well-being is my goal.
Cholecystitis can be diagnosed by comprehensive medical history, physical examination and imaging examination.
1. Medical
history is mainly through the doctor's inquiry, such as whether abdominal pain, abdominal distension, fever, chills and other discomfort symptoms, whether there are other digestive system diseases, and at the same time can understand the characteristics of various symptoms, providing a basis for diagnosis.
2. Physical examination The
doctor will conduct a comprehensive physical examination on the patient. If there is gallbladder tenderness, it can be diagnosed as acute cholecystitis.
3. Imaging examination
mainly includes ultrasound, CT, MRI, etc. If the examination finds gallbladder enlargement, gallbladder wall thickening and other manifestations, it indicates acute cholecystitis; if the examination finds gallbladder wall coarse, thickening ≥3mm, it indicates chronic cholecystitis.
