Causes of duodenal bulb deformation and stenosis

Duodenal bulb deformation and stenosis are caused by congenital dysplasia, duodenitis, duodenal bulb tumor, etc.

1. Congenital dysplasia of

duodenal bulb in embryonic stage, resulting in different morphology and structure of duodenal bulb from normal people, congenital deformation and stenosis.

2. Duodenal bulb inflammation

stimulates duodenal bulb, resulting in mucosal congestion and edema, so there will be duodenal bulb deformation, stenosis, abdominal pain and other symptoms.

3. Duodenal bulb tumor

epithelial cell proliferation, thus forming duodenal bulb tumor, leading to local deformation, and tumor enlargement will block intestinal lumen, causing intestinal lumen stenosis.
