3 physiological strictures of esophagus

Healing with compassion, caring with dedication.
There are three physiological strictures in esophagus, namely, the first stricture, the second stricture, and the third stricture. The specific conditions are as follows:
1. The first
stricture is located at the beginning of esophagus, at the lower edge of cervical vertebral body 6, about 15cm away from central incisor, and is the junction of pharynx and esophagus, surrounded by cricoid cartilage and cricopharynx muscle.
2. The
second stricture is located at the junction of left bronchus and esophagus, between thoracic vertebral body 4 and 5, about 25cm away from central incisor, and is the place where food is easy to be stored.
3. The third
stricture is located at esophageal hiatus, flush with thoracic vertebral body 10, about 40cm away from central incisor.
