How is pancreatic cyst formed?

Your health is my mission.
Pancreatic cysts may be caused by genetic, parasitic infection, pancreatitis and other reasons.
1. Genetic
inheritance leads to the existence of mutated genes in the body. Under the action of mutated genes, pancreatic duct epithelial cells and acinar cells undergo abnormal proliferation, which can form pancreatic cysts.
2. Parasitic infection
parasites may be active in the pancreas, blocking the pancreatic duct, resulting in pancreatic juice not being discharged and remaining in the pancreatic duct, thus causing pancreatic cysts.
3. Pancreatitis
Pancreatitis may promote pancreatic secretion, inflammation stimulates fibrous tissue proliferation, and pancreatic juice enters the peripancreatic tissue and is wrapped by fibrous tissue, thus forming pancreatic cysts.
