How does esophageal reflux gastritis occur?

Healing with compassion, caring with dedication.
Esophageal reflux gastritis usually refers to gastroesophageal reflux, which may be caused by abnormal function of the lower esophageal sphincter, poor eating habits, gastric emptying disorders, drugs, etc.
1. Abnormal function of the lower esophageal sphincter
If the lower esophageal sphincter is not relaxed properly, gastric acid is easy to reflux into the esophagus, causing gastroesophageal reflux.
2. Poor eating habits
Excessive eating, overeating, coffee, tea, alcohol, spicy food, greasy food and other bad eating habits will increase acid secretion and increase the risk of esophageal reflux.
3. Gastric emptying disorders
Limited or delayed gastric emptying can lead to gastric acid retention in the stomach for too long, thus increasing the incidence of gastroesophageal reflux.
4. Drug
patients taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, calcium channel blockers and other drugs for a long time, may also cause gastroesophageal reflux.
