What are the main causes of gastric antrum inflammation?

Guiding you to a healthier tomorrow.
Antral gastritis is caused by chronic use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, infections, autoimmune reactions, etc.
1. Long-term use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
Long-term or excessive use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as aspirin, ibuprofen, diclofenac sodium, etc., may stimulate the gastric mucosa and cause antral gastritis.
2. Infection
One of the common causes of antral gastritis is Helicobacter pylori infection, which can invade the gastric mucosa and cause inflammation, leading to antral gastritis. In addition, other bacterial, viral or fungal infections can also cause antral gastritis.
3. Autoimmune reactions
In some cases, the immune system may mistakenly attack the gastric mucosa, resulting in inflammation, known as autoimmune antral gastritis.
