What does gastroesophageal reflux feel like?

Gastroesophageal reflux may cause burning sensation, dysphagia, acid reflux, belching and nausea.

1. Burning sensation

Acid reflux irritates the esophageal mucosa, causing burning or burning sensation, often described as pain or discomfort behind the sternum.

2. Dysphagia
