How to tell colic from baby crying

Intestinal cramps refers to intestinal spasms, which can be distinguished according to the characteristics, duration and accompanying symptoms of infant crying.

1. The characteristics of crying

Intestinal cramps can cause severe abdominal pain. If the infant crying is sharp and high, it can be initially judged as intestinal spasms.

2. Duration

If the infant crying lasts for a long time, it can be further judged as intestinal spasms. Otherwise, it may not be intestinal spasms.

3. Accompanying symptoms

If the infant is accompanied by abdominal tension, leg curl, vomiting and other symptoms, it can be diagnosed as intestinal spasms. Otherwise, it may not be intestinal spasms.
