E. coli fluorescence detection method is what

Guiding you with care, every step of the way.
E. coli fluorescence detection methods include sample preparation, nutrient agar plate medium, culture, fluorescence detection and result interpretation.
1. Sample preparation
Collect samples to be detected, which can be food, water, environment, etc. Samples should be pretreated according to corresponding methods, such as separation and culture.
2. Nutrient agar plate medium Inoculate
samples on agar plate medium containing appropriate nutrients and indicators. This medium usually adds fluorescein, which can be hydrolyzed by specific enzymes of E. coli.
3. Incubate
agar plate medium and samples together at appropriate temperature and humidity for culture.
4. Fluorescence detection
After a period of time, observe whether there are luminescent spots or fluorescent bands on the medium. If there is E. coli, the enzyme that decomposes fluorescein produces green or blue fluorescence on the medium.
5. Result interpretation
According to the formation and color of fluorescence, judge whether E. coli exists. Positive results indicate the presence of E. coli. Negative results indicate that E. coli is not detected.
