What is rectal ulcer bleeding?

Rectal ulcer bleeding may be caused by ulcer rupture, ulcer inflammation, hemorrhagic chronic inflammation and other causes.

1. Ulcer rupture

When the surface tissue of rectal ulcer ruptures, because the blood vessels are destroyed, it will lead to internal rectal bleeding.

2. Ulcer inflammation

The tissue around rectal ulcer may swell due to inflammation, which also affects the blood vessels on the rectal wall, causing bleeding.
