Why functional gastrointestinal disease?

Restoring balance, one patient at a time.
Functional gastrointestinal disease generally refers to gastrointestinal dysfunction. The cause of gastrointestinal dysfunction is not yet clear. It may be related to factors such as mental disorders, autonomic nervous dysfunction and Helicobacter pylori infection.
1. Mental disorders
If the patient is in a mental state such as anxiety and depression for a long time, it is easy to affect gastrointestinal function and cause gastrointestinal dysfunction.
2. Abnormal autonomic nervous function
When vagus nerve activity increases and decreases, it may cause gastrointestinal dysfunction.
3. Helicobacter pylori infection
If the patient is infected with Helicobacter pylori, it is easy to cause functional dyspepsia, thus causing gastrointestinal dysfunction.
